Ethnographic complex "Damascena", Skobelevo village

Complex "Damascena" is a private family distillery located in the heart of the Rose Valley between "the town of the Bulgarian Rose"- Kazanlak and the town known for its mineral springs and spa – Pavel Banya. The distillery is built in the charming little village Skobelevo, 4 km away from Sofia - Burgas main road.

  • An ethnographic collection of household objects used in the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century
  • Gulapana (old distillery), arranged the same way as our ancestors did the installations for extracting rose oil more than 340 years ago
  • Modern plant (distillery) for the production of rose oil
