Deputy Minister of Tourism Prof. Mariela Modeva delivered a speech at the opening of the spectacular event, alongside the Chinese Ambassador, Dai Qingli.
"China is one of the world’s largest tourism markets, and Bulgaria needs to have a much higher profile there. We have a lot to offer – a rich cultural and historical heritage, spa and wellness tourism, natural beauty, wine and gastronomy.
Bulgaria, which is the current world vice-champion, will be presented to a wide international audience as an attractive destination for sports and event tourism.
The meeting, held jointly with the Minister for Regional Development and Public Works, Arch. Ivan Shishkov, focused on the road infrastructure of “Sunny Beach” AD and reforms aimed at developing tourism
