Over EUR 1.3 billion are the revenues from international tourism in Bulgaria for the first six months of this year. They increased by 9.7% compared to the January-June period earlier, according to the data of the Bulgarian National Bank.
The project of the Ministry of Tourism to create 7 Balneo- and SPA destinations in the country, including the Black Sea, is part of the strategy for establishing Bulgaria as a year-round destination.
Chinese tourists will increase at 5.1% a year up to 2023. This demonstrates how significant that market’s potential is and how active we need to be in promoting our country’s tourism opportunities in China.
