Vesselina Panova

Avv. Dr. Veselina Panova PhD, Attorney at Law, was born in 1976 in Sofia. She graduated with full honors from the 105th Secondary School in the town of Sofia.

In 1999 she graduated from the Faculty of Law of Sofia University with a Master degree in Law from the St. Climent Ohridski University.

In 2001, she graduated from the Rome University ‘La Sapienza’ of Rome with a Master degree in Law. In the same year she won a competition for a full-time PhD at the Rome University ‘Tor Vergata’. She collaborates with the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) in Rome.

In 2003, she passed the examination for admission to the Rome Bar.

In 2005, the University of Rome awarded her the degree of Doctor of Laws, after a successful defence of her dissertation.

In the period 2002—2006 she was also engaged in research and teaching, lecturing at university specialization courses in Roman institutions.

In 2006 she founded her own law firm in Rome, which has developed over the years as a leading law firm specializing in civil and commercial law. Since its inception, the firm has served airlines, consulted for a leading tour operator, insurance companies, etc., and since 2008 has specialized in the audio-visual sector, in particular in the production of audio-visual content, including in Bulgaria.

In the period 2006—2014 she was a member of the committees of the Council of the Bar Association of Rome. In 2014, she was nominated by the Union of Italian Lawyers as a candidate in the elections for the National Congress of Italian Lawyers.

She has participated in over eighty qualification courses and seminars and has authored numerous scientific publications, including Italian university textbooks as part of an editorial team of university professors.

Avv. Dr. Panova PhD, Attorney at Law, has extensive linguistic knowledge. In addition to working with Italian and English, she has studied Russian and Spanish, and continues to successfully improve her language skills in Korean, Chinese, French and Arabic. This year she was awarded a diploma for the highest grade in her Chinese language course.
