The official start of the 2025 summer tourist season will be on May 31 in Pomorie. The town has a solid spot on Bulgaria's tourist map and offers a great mix of sea, history, culture, balneology, and spas. With the opening of the season in Pomorie, the Ministry of Tourism is focusing on promoting a diverse and sustainable tourism product that combines natural resources, cultural heritage, and high-quality services.
Tourism Minister Miroslav Borshosh said that picking the town to host the official event is a clear sign of recognition for the local community and businesses, which have managed to turn Pomorie into an example of how tradition and modern development can work together in recent years. "This year, we will open the summer tourist season with a big concert on the beach. In 2025, for the first time, the Ministry of Tourism will actively promote mountain tourism with a major event at the end of June in the heart of the Rhodopes," added Minister Miroslav Borshosh.
During the two events, the Ministry will present the main highlights and priorities for summer 2025, with a focus on security, the quality of tourist services, and the promotion of Bulgaria as a preferred destination for leisure and travel 365 days a year.
The opening of the summer tourist season will be accompanied by a large-scale communication campaign, including digital, radio, and outdoor advertising. The agenda for the special musical event in Pomorie on May 31 can be found here [2].
