Bulgaria highlights cultural tourism at the international exhibition in Paris
France is among the key markets, and participation in IFTM Top Resa is part of the strategy to attract new tourists
The Ministry of Tourism is presenting Bulgaria at the international tourism exhibition IFTM Top Resa 2025, taking place from 23 to 25 September in Paris, France. The forum brings together leading professionals from the global tourism industry and provides opportunities for building new partnerships and exchanging best practices.
Bulgaria participates with a national stand covering an area of 85.5 sq. m, featuring companies from the tourism sector and representatives of municipalities. The Bulgarian stand, organized by the Ministry of Tourism, showcases the country as a year-round tourist destination offering cultural, wine, spa, summer, and winter tourism experiences.
Minister Miroslav Borshosh emphasized that France is among the key markets for Bulgaria and that participation in IFTM Top Resa is part of the Ministry’s consistent strategy to expand the country’s presence and attract more visitors from there. “Our participation in the forum is an opportunity to present Bulgaria not only as a familiar summer and winter destination, but also as a country with rich culture and winemaking traditions. Our goal is to attract tourists seeking memorable and diverse experiences linked to these types of tourism,” stated the Minister.
From the Bulgarian side, the national stand will also be visited by Dr. Desislav Taskov, Chairman of the Committee on Tourism in the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria, accompanied by committee members Stanislav Guberov, Milen Deliyski, Nadya Petrova, and Adelina Ivanova.
