The Minister of Tourism and the Governor of Blagoevgrad discussed opportunities for the development of the sector in the region

The Ministry of Tourism hosted a working meeting between Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh, Blagoevgrad Regional Governor Georgi Dinev and the MEP Andrey Novakov. The main focus of the discussion was on the opportunities for the development of the tourism sector in the region and ways to attract more visitors by promoting local natural and cultural attractions.

Specific challenges and potential solutions aimed at improving tourism services and infrastructure were discussed during the meeting. Emphasis was placed on the prospects for expanding cultural, spa, wellness and wellness tourism in the district.

Blagoevgrad and the district have exceptional natural and cultural assets that can be used even more successfully to attract tourists. Regional Governor Georgi Dinev confirmed the readiness of the local authorities to work actively with the Ministry of Tourism and stressed the importance of targeted policies to promote tourism activities in the region. He noted that the development of the sector is an essential factor for economic growth and improvement of the living standards of the local population.
